Francheska Bardacke

Francheska Bardacke, a native of New Mexico, is a dedicated advocate for the underserved and deeply rooted in her community. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of New Mexico School of Law and completed her undergraduate studies at Colorado College and Oxford University in the United Kingdom.

With extensive trial experience, Francheska has participated in over fifty criminal trials, leading more than thirty jury trials from inception to verdict. Transitioning to civil litigation, she has focused on cases involving catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and civil rights. As a member of the New Mexico Trial Lawyers Association and a practitioner licensed in Federal Court, she brings substantial expertise in trial work, civil litigation, and personal injury law to her practice at Collins & Collins, where she dedicates her efforts to civil rights.

Francheska is committed to combating the inhumane conditions faced by inmates, including inadequate medical and mental health care, understaffing, and nutritional neglect—issues often stemming from large corporations profiting from contracts with New Mexico and its counties. She also advocates for medical staff, personnel, and correctional officers who strive to improve conditions but face retaliation as a result. Her relentless advocacy is driven by the systemic issues that lead to preventable, tragic, and often deadly outcomes.

Having personally experienced unfairness and discrimination due to power imbalances and malevolent authority figures, Francheska is professionally committed to uncovering and stopping those who unjustly harm the vulnerable and exposing those complicit in abuse. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys the outdoors, fly-fishing, horses, and cherishes time with her family. In all her endeavors, she stands as a steadfast advocate for justice and a catalyst for positive change in her community.
